The CAM have mandated the use of helmets for all National Championships under their umbrella. This includes all batters and wicket keepers (up at the stumps).
This decision was reached with the support of all State bodies. This means that all games under the umbrella of CAM enforces the use of helmets.
VCV support the use of helmets, but it is not mandated under our rules, so the option remains with the player whether they wear a helmet whilst batting in our domestic competitions.
If it is mandated for all National Championships, then the batter will be timed out if they refuse to wear a helmet when batting - but in our local competitions, we are leaving the decision to the individual?

The technical detail noting that modern cricket helmets reduce impact force by up to 60 percent during high-speed collisions is compelling because it illustrates the importance of structural design in safety equipment. Translating this to higher education, the integrity of assessment structures similarly protects learners from failure caused by procedural lapses. This principle aligns with the structured academic oversight supported by New Assignment Help Australia which promotes clarity, consistency, and ethical standards in student work. I appreciated how the article contextualises risk reduction without sensationalising injuries. It made me consider how rigorous frameworks in pedagogy, much like helmet design, can prevent adverse outcomes while allowing safe progression. I wonder how future innovations in protective equipment will parallel evolving academic assessment…
